The Farm

July 2, 2025 by Daniel Elliott

Today the entire team spent the entire  day at the farm with Joab! Joab is the Director of Kabale Trinity College. All of the food for Kabale Trinity College comes fresh from the farm. It’s the biggest farm in all of Uganda and it’s an incredible place! The farm serves as a place of education for the community and all of Uganda. Also everything is regenerative in the farm.

The team got to see all of the chickens, pigs, bunnies, goats, and cows that live on the farm!

There is an amazing amount of fruit and vegetables on the farm! We saw mushrooms, vanilla beans, watermelon, pineapple, sugar cane, coffee beans and so much more!

For lunch we had some chicken, watermelon, pineapple, and potato’s freshly picked for us to eat!

The team visited the location of the current greenhouse that is on campus! The current shipment of the 6 greenhouses that the team was going to build has taken longer than expected with shipping and ports. It arrived in Africa today! The six greenhouses are still on their way to the farm for Kabale Trinity College!

In the afternoon all of the team spent time grabbing all of the coffee berries from the coffee bushes that were recently planted! This is a new addition to the farm. All of the team enjoyed eating some sugar cane. There was los some pineapples available for the team to harvest!

This evening the team spent time with all of the teachers at Kabale Trinity College. There was over 100 teachers that joined us for dinner at the White Horse Inn.
