Gods's Favor Orphanage
In Partneship with Plant A Seed Foundation. Currently, there are over 800 children being served by God's Favour School and Ministry. 165 of these children are orphans, while many of the other 535 come from single-parent homes. All of them face insecurity and danger on a regular basis in their poverty-stricken community.
This orphanage has 800 orphans and was desperately needing a chapel to be built on their campus. What’s super cool about this chapel is last year at the vacation Bible school at church in Escalon the kids raised $13,295.94 and that money went towards Plant A Seed Foundation. That money then helped the kids in Uganda Africa by having a dedication service. This is what sustainable projects is all about and also seeing how God‘s faithfulness is touching the lives of not only the the kids in Uganda Africa, but also here in our local community in Modesto as well.

Some of our local projects include: Garden boxes at Brett Harte Elementary School, airport district community garden, sewing machines at Orville Wright School, volunteering at Night to Shine, Redwood Family Center, Vine House, and Modesto Rotary. We also come alongside families in our community that have emergency needs. We handle them on a case by case basis.
In the year of 2003, John Gish and a team of men went to Kabale, Uganda, after the Gideons informed him that there was a need for a church and a school. The Chapel was built in 2005, Plant-A-Seed sponsor students, In 2009 Irrigation and Farm House built, 2011 Protein for a Lifetime, 2025 The Green House Initiative Coleman, and God's Favor which has a chapel being built in the local orphanage in Kabale, Uganda.
Project North West Haiti’s team effort began in January of 2005. The project has focused on the mountain village of Passe Catabois where work has progressed on a guest house, medical clinic, shop building and a hospital. Each time that teams have traveled to Haiti they have encouraged Christians there by visiting local churches with team members’ testimonies and preaching the Word.

meet our Board
Founded in the fall of 2004, Plant-A-Seed Foundation became a 503B Non-Profit Corporation in the first part of 2005. Since opening our doors, Plant-A-Seed has funded projects in Uganda, Cambodia, the Netherlands, Kenya, India, Bangladesh, Mexico, Nicaragua, throughout the United States, and in our hometown of Modesto, California. Our hometown projects have included working with the Modesto Pregnancy Center, Healing Nations, Youth for Christ and more.
