Local Projects

Founded in the fall of 2004, Plant-A-Seed became a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation in the first part of 2005. We are based in our hometown of Modesto, California.

Our goal at Plant-A-Seed Foundation is to promote lasting change in the lives of people by assisting them with the resources and the knowledge to reach their goals in Modesto, CA and surrounding communities.

Some of our local projects include: Garden boxes at Brett Harte Elementary School, airport district community garden, sewing machines at Orville Wright School, volunteering at Night to Shine,  Redwood Family Center, Vine House, and Modesto Rotary.

We also come alongside families in our community that have emergency needs. We handle them on a case by case basis.

We are involved with local ministries such as Modesto Pregnancy Center, Cricket's House, Night to Shine, Modesto Children’s hospital, Redwood Family Center, Fellowship of Christian Athletes,  Modesto Gospel Mission, Adult and Teen Challenge, Valley Recovery Resources, Love Modesto, Love Hopes, Soldiers Of The Cross, Big Valley Grace Community Church, and Heritage Church,
